Where this badge shows, the request button is available. Where it says "No known contact", no intro is offered and nothing is charged.

Warm intros: FAQ
Michael personally introduces you to a fund or LP through his own network. Every request is handled by hand. Nothing about it is automated.
Only those where Michael's network already has a known path. Fund and LP pages show this in the Michael's Network card. Where there is no known path, the request button is not offered and nothing can be charged. Paths are added over time.
Write to Michael and he sends you a link to a free path check. He checks his own network by hand. If he finds a path you decide whether to spend one credit. If not, you pay nothing.
EUR 50 per credit, flat, and one credit covers one intro request. There are no bundles, no volume discount, and no plan that includes free intros. LP and VC credits are separate pools. Each purchase is a one-time payment, and unused credits do not expire.
On the website, open a fund or LP page that shows a known path, click "Request a warm intro" and send the request. You need to be logged in with at least one credit of the matching type. Through the MCP server, call request_warm_intro with the slug returned by search_funds, match_startup or get_fund. The API key you use must be linked to your account, otherwise the call is refused before any charge. If there is no known path, the call creates a free path check instead (see below).
Michael usually follows up within 3 business days. You can track the status of your requests at the top of this page once you have sent one.
Not necessarily. A match can mean a contact at the firm rather than the specific partner you want to reach. Where a path to a named GP is confirmed, the fund page says so.
Yes. The request form on the website has an optional note field of up to 1,000 characters. Use it for what you are raising, how you are already connected, and your timing. A request with context is much easier to place well.
No. A credit is spent the moment a request is created, and spent credits are not refunded. A credit pays for the request and Michael's effort. It does not guarantee a reply, a meeting or an investment.
Yes. Connect your Happenstance account and use "Check for a path" on a fund page. It costs nothing beyond your own Happenstance search credits.
Buying credits lets you submit that many warm-intro requests, for targets where Michael's network has a known path. It does not guarantee that many successful intros, replies, meetings, or investments. A credit is spent the moment a request is created; spent credits are not refunded. Each purchase is a one-time payment (not a subscription); unused credits do not expire and do not carry over between the LP and VC pools.
