LP Radar · Full access

Know which LPs are actually writing cheques right now.

Free LP Radar tells you who an institution is. Full access tells you what it has been doing: every documented commitment, the fund size and stage behind it, when it happened, and the pattern that connects them. Built from the fund closings Fund Momentum publishes every week, so it stays current without anyone maintaining a contact list.

What full access adds

Full commitment history

Every fund an LP has backed, with size, stage, geography and sector. The free profile shows a count. This shows the list.

Recency

When each commitment happened and how long since this LP last allocated. An LP that closed a position last month behaves very differently from one that has been quiet for three years.

Allocation pattern

Typical fund size band, preferred geographies and sectors, and whether the LP has backed first-time managers. Derived from what it actually did, not from a stated mandate on a website.

Co-investing LPs

Which other institutions keep showing up in the same funds. Useful when one warm introduction can reasonably lead to the next.

Weekly movement digest

A short summary of which LPs committed to what in the past week, filtered to the fund sizes and geographies you care about.

Pricing

Priced against a fund raise, not against a data subscription. One well-targeted LP conversation is worth more than a year of access, and one badly targeted quarter of outreach costs considerably more.

Card payment is not live yet, so access is arranged by hand. Send a request and you get an invoice and your login within one working day. Nothing is charged when you submit.

Billing: bank transfer against invoice, 14-day payment terms, full VAT details on the invoice. Access is activated as soon as payment is confirmed. Purchase orders and annual invoicing for institutions are fine — mention it in your request.

One thing worth stating plainly: roughly half of all fund closings name no LPs at all. Fund Momentum records those as undisclosed rather than hiding the gap, so the Radar always shows you where coverage ends. Individual and angel backers are recorded internally but never published.

Questions before you buy

Every entry is mapped from a published fund closing that Fund Momentum covers, typically within 24 hours of the announcement. Nothing is bought from a contact vendor and nothing is inferred. If an LP appears here, a specific fund announcement named it.

It covers every LP that has been named in a fund closing since coverage began. Roughly half of all closings disclose no LPs, and those are marked as undisclosed rather than filled in with guesswork, so you always know where the record ends. Institutions are published; individual and angel backers are not.

Free covers who an institution is: name, type, headquarters, geographic focus, website and how many commitments are on record. Full access covers what it has been doing: the commitment list itself, fund sizes, commitment dates, how recently it allocated, its allocation pattern and the LPs that keep appearing in the same funds.

Yes. Create a free account and export it as an Excel file from your profile. The export carries the directory fields: name, type, headquarters, geographic focus and website. Commitment history, fund sizes, dates and recency live in the product itself, where they stay current.

Continuously. Every new fund announcement is swept for LP mentions the moment it publishes, and a scheduled pass re-checks the archive every six hours. Around 30 new closings are covered per week.

Start from behaviour rather than from a name list. Filter for the fund sizes, geographies and sectors an LP has actually backed, check whether it has committed to first-time managers, then look at its co-investors to find the institutions that keep appearing alongside it. That combination gets you a shortlist of 60 to 120 credible targets instead of a spreadsheet of thousands.

Yes. Email michael@fundmomentum.vc and the entry is corrected or removed. Accuracy comes before completeness here.
